about

The English folk song "Now Robin, lend to me thy bow" (Roud 1373) was popular in the time of Queen Elizabeth 1. Working with the original lyrics, and adding some of our own, we have built a new tune, using the plaintive call of a hunting horn as the foundation for this musical atmosphere. The hunting imagery evokes Robin Hood, but also Cupid, leading the listener into a dark wood of desire and dread.
